Daniel Mestric, Au.D.


Practice owner and Audiologist Dr Daniel Mestric graduated from Macquarie University in 1997. He completed further graduate studies in Audiology in 1999 (Master of Audiology) and 2002 (Doctorate of Audiology) before commencing private practice in Port Macquarie in 2002. In 2011 Daniel completed a research placement at America’s largest Hearing Aid Laboratories—Starkey Laboratories in Minnesota, where he conducted beta trials of new hearing technologies.Daniel is a full member of the Audiological Society of Australia, holding the Certificate of Clinical Practice. He is also an active member of Independent Audiologists Australia, which promotes the Audiology profession to the public and Government bodies. Professional interests include tinnitus management and the neurophysiology of hearing. Daniel’s philosophy to patient care centres around education: “I try to give patients the advice I would like to receive if I were sitting in their chair”.

His educational series “Ear-Luminating” has proven popular in the community and tries to convey to readers a sense of wonder about our sense of hearing.




Sue Tillman


Office Manager and the backbone of our practice, Sue brings a wealth of experience with her, having worked in senior customer service roles in Port Macquarie for many years. Sue oversees the smooth running of our office and takes the success of the practice very personally. She is often seen sharing a laugh and has a knack for putting our patients at ease. Sue is fully trained to service your hearing aids and to assist with your product related enquiries.



Sarah Lilly


Receptionist and the smiling face of Amplex, Sarah is skilled at helping patients with their initial enquiries and ongoing needs. Her many years experience in customer service makes her a valuable addition to our team. You will always find Sarah willing to help with your enquiries. She is experienced at servicing hearing aids and is knowledgeable about our range of assistive listening devices and disability telephones
